Please read these Terms of Use carefully. They include an agreement to arbitrate disputes and a waiver of class actions (Section 9).

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of homespecialistshq.com (the "Site"), which is made available by Home Specialists HQ ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What the Site does

Home Specialists HQ is an independent, advertising-supported website publisher that helps connect homeowners with roofing contractors and home services companies. We are not a roofing contractor or a licensed contractor of any kind, we do not perform or supervise any work, and we do not provide estimates ourselves. Any estimate, price, scheduling, or work comes from the contractor you are connected with, and your agreement for that work is solely between you and that contractor.

2. Not a government program, and work is not free

The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any federal, state, or local government agency or program. Roof repair and replacement are not free, and nothing on the Site offers free roofing work, grants, or relief programs. Requesting an estimate through the Site costs you nothing.

3. How we make money

We may earn revenue when you submit a request, click a link, or are connected with a contractor or lead network through the Site. This compensation may affect which companies you are matched with and where they appear. We do not endorse or recommend any particular company or product, and we do not guarantee the quality, pricing, licensing, or insurance of any contractor.

4. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner of the home, or authorized by the owner, to submit a request. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it if it changes.

5. Your consent to be contacted

When you submit a request, you agree to the consent language displayed next to the submit button, which authorizes us and the companies we share your request with to contact you by phone, text, and email, including with automated technology, as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Mobile terms

By submitting a request with your mobile number you opt in to receive text messages from us and our partners about your request and related home improvement offers. You will receive no more than 10 messages per month from us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that sender, and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Session data

The Site and our partners' request forms may record how you interact with forms, including mouse movements, keystrokes, and page views, using tools such as ActiveProspect's TrustedForm and Jornaya, in order to verify and document your consent. By using the Site you agree to this recording.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false or misleading information, submit requests on behalf of someone else without their permission, use bots or automated tools on the Site, interfere with the Site's operation, or copy or scrape its content. We may block access for any violation.

8. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that any contractor will contact you, that any contractor is licensed, bonded, or insured, or that you will receive any particular price or result. Verify a contractor's license, insurance, and references yourself before hiring. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Specialists HQ and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any damages arising from the work, pricing, or conduct of any contractor or partner, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

9. Agreement to arbitrate and class action waiver

Any dispute between you and Home Specialists HQ arising out of these Terms, the Site, or communications you receive as a result of using the Site, including claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing privacy@homespecialistshq.com within 30 days of first using the Site, with your name, phone number, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.

10. Links to third-party sites

The Site links to and hands your request off to third-party sites and forms that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

11. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, and trademarks belong to Home Specialists HQ or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 9.

13. Changes and contact

We may change these Terms at any time by posting an updated version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the current Terms. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions: privacy@homespecialistshq.com.
