This website, homespecialistshq.com (the "Site"), is owned and operated by Home Specialists HQ ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a roofing estimate, we collect what you enter: first and last name, email address, phone number, street address, zip code, whether you own the home, and your answers about your roof (type, age, the work you need, and your timeline).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we and our service providers collect your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, the pages you view, the ad or link that brought you here, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to do this, including the Meta Pixel. Our partners' request forms may also use session recording and consent verification tools such as ActiveProspect's TrustedForm and Jornaya, which record how a form is completed in order to document your consent.
2. How we use information
- To match your request with roofing contractors and home services companies that serve your area, and to deliver your request to them or to a lead network that works with them.
- To let those companies contact you about your request.
- To run, measure, and improve our advertising, including on Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
- To detect fraud, keep records of your consent, and comply with the law.
3. How we share and sell information
We are a lead-matching service. When you submit a request, we share, and under some state laws are considered to "sell" or "share," the information you entered with third parties, including home improvement companies, roofing contractors, lead buyers, lead networks, and advertising agencies, so they can contact you with estimates. We also share automatically collected data with advertising and analytics providers.

We may also share information with service providers who host the Site or process data for us, with authorities when required by law, and with a buyer if our business is sold.
4. How you may be contacted
When you submit a request and agree to the consent language displayed next to the submit button, you give express written consent for us and the companies we share your request with to contact you by phone call, text message, and email at the number and address you provided, about your request and related home improvement offers. These calls and texts may be made using an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded or artificial voice. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply. To stop texts from a sender, reply STOP. To stop calls, tell the caller you no longer wish to be contacted.
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, or to make any other request, email privacy@homespecialistshq.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Tell us the name, email, and phone number you used on the Site so we can find your record. We respond within the time required by your state's law, normally 45 days. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the rights described above, including the right to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. You may use an authorized agent to make a request; we will ask for proof that you authorized them.
Nevada residents
Nevada residents may direct us not to sell their covered information by emailing privacy@homespecialistshq.com.
Other states
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with consumer privacy laws may use the same email address to exercise their rights, including the right to appeal a decision we make about a request.
6. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no internet transmission is completely secure. We keep records of requests and of your consent for as long as needed to operate our business and to meet legal and contractual obligations, which is generally at least five years for consent records.
7. Links to other sites
The Site links to and hands your request to third-party sites and forms, including our lead network partner's request form. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which govern once you leave the Site.
8. Children
The Site is intended for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
